A road in Daubhill will be closed at the end of this month whilst water works are ongoing.
Clifford Road will be closed from May 26 for approximately one week whilst works take place.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Clifford Road from St Helens Road to the back of St Helens Road, to allow water works to take place.
Diversions will be in place, with signs up in the area, to allow motorists to travel around the area with ease.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closures may cause.
